Tim Tompkins is an experienced and successful Real Estate Broker and entrepreneur in Rochester and Upstate New York. Since being licensed to sell real estate at the age of eighteen, nearly 40 years ago, Mr. Tompkins has developed a wide range of expertise, including the acquisition and development of income producing property, quickly identifying the warning signs of that may be uncovered by single family home inspections, and providing an accurate appraisal opinion.

Since his involvement as a teenager in his father’s construction business, Mr. Tompkins has acquired a vast knowledge of all phases of Real Estate sales, leasing, and development. His entrepreneurial drive led him to start his own company in 1989, Tompkins General Contractors, as well as launching several restaurant operations that have become hallmarks of the industry.

Prince Realty, spearheaded by Tim Tompkins and Christopher Woodworth, is the real estate organization created in response to a 2006 acquisition and renovation of a beautiful East Avenue mansion located at the corner of Prince Street.

Outside of his passion for real estate transactions and entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Tompkins is an active member of his community, including holding advisory positions on the boards of Pathstone, Inc., the New York State AIDS Advisory Council, Upper East End Business Association as treasurer, East End Business Association marketing committee, and Strong Memorial Hospital, as well as past board memberships with the Park Meigs Neighborhood Association, Empire State Pride Agenda, Community Health Network, Community Chest, and Ontario Jaycees.

Through strong and charismatic leadership, he has assisted on the host committees and organized numerous political campaigns, including being a vital fund raiser for the Duffy / Cuomo campaign and the Monroe County Democratic Party.
